PUBLIC PERFORMANCES
Whether it's a library, town park, auditorium, or theater, a public performance is one of my favorite venues. My shows include songs written by leading kids' artists as well as everyone's traditional favorites and, of course, my own originals. I encourage children to act out the songs by way of hand gestures, body movements, and vocal participation. These song activities vary according to the age levels of the kids. I strive to please both children and their parents by weaving mini stories, rhymes, and humor throughout the performance. I guarantee my programs to be lively and fun. Along with my primary objective to provide a thoroughly enjoyable musical experience for my audiences, I try to take advantage of any opportunity to use my songs as learning tools as well. My shows are geared to ages 1–7.

"We liked her so much, we booked her for a series!"

BIRTHDAY PARTIES
My birthday entertainment (for ages 1-7) is made up of a mix of participatory songs. For added fun I often include tambourines, egg shakers, scarves and/or cowboy hats. Circle games are introduced, if feasible. The birthday child receives a complimentary copy of my CD, I Like Feeling Good About Me. If six or more CDs are desired for goody bags, I offer them to the host/hostess at half-price. The birthday merriment runs for 45 minutes.

"You were amazing!!! Max really enjoyed himself."

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for the wonderful job you did at Anna’s party. It was exactly what I had envisioned. Anna had such a great time, and she is still talking about it!"

IN THE CLASSROOM
Classroom performances can be designed to suit any number of musical needs. In initial performances at day care facilities, pre-schools, or kindergartens I present a variety of age-appropriate songs and finger plays, which encourages the kids to interact. In subsequent performances, if the teachers are focusing on specific areas of learning they would like reinforced in song, I am happy to work out related musical material - often writing my own songs to accomplish this. If a school is interested in having me visit on a regular basis in the role of music specialist, I will plan out programs each time, which include new music as well as former songs which continue to be used as learning tools. I also incorporate percussion instruments into the lessons.

HALLOWEEN FUN
No event is too big or too small for my Halloween Fun program. It is perfect for public events and is also designed to suit Halloween parties in the home. This Halloween show, which is geared for kids 4 to 10, includes participatory Halloween songs - some being my own originals - and one not-too-scary Halloween tale complete with eerie sound effects. A sprinkling of seasonal humor, riddles, tongue twisters and a few ghastly Halloween poems are included in the mix as well. I perform in costume for this 45-minute show unless the event is held outdoors and the weather requires warmer clothing. Call early for bookings. First come, first served.

"You captured their attention from the start. The other parents were very impressed and all commented on what a great job you did."

Jeanne, mom of a 5-year-old trick-or-treater
Newbury, MA

"William just had the best time! I took a bit of video, and William was having the most fantastic time!"

Kate, delighted mom of a 7-year-old
Dover, MA

"My favorite part was the 12 children standing up front to help with ‘The Twelve Days of Halloween.’ The expressions of concentration, intensity and pride were priceless. It was quite an amazing performance considering several of the children did not read and were relying on their memories."

NOT A FRIGHT IN SIGHT
I created this Halloween program especially for the really little kids - infants to three and four-year-olds - who just want to enjoy seeing the other children in their costumes and be entertained with some very UNfrightful (and participatory) Halloween-themed songs. Also included are some of the well-known non-Halloween songs that kids love along with a few seasonal rhymes.  For the grand finale the kids parade around in their costumes to a marching band accompaniment. I perform in costume for this 45-minute show unless the event is held outdoors and the weather requires warmer clothing.

"jeanniemack's program was exactly what we were looking for! She kept a hundred young children and their parents engaged and entertained. Her songs were perfectly matched for the ages of the children. Jeannie was easy to work with and understood the need to be flexible when working with excited children in costume. We will be inviting her back to Belmont Public Library."

CHRISTMAS & HOLIDAY EVENTS
I grew up celebrating Christmas and love the opportunity to share all the traditional Santa-Rudolph-partridge-in-a-pear-tree-sleigh-bell songs imaginable. If desired, Hanukkah songs and/or the more reverent Christmas carols may be included in the program, also. These seasonal songs can be presented in any number of ways – the most popular being in conjunction with a mixture of interactive kids’ songs and other songs geared to family entertainment.  Full-blown Christmas sing-alongs complete with lyric sheets are an additional option.

CORPORATE EVENTS
Corporate events that require kids' entertainment take place in many different settings... outside at a company barbecue ... in the office for a Halloween celebration... or in a public place for a holiday party. (See Christmas Sing-Along above for holiday music.) Wherever it's held, I will make a corporate event fun-filled and memorable with a lively and participatory performance of songs geared for kids aged 1 to 7.

CHARITABLE & FUNDRAISING CONCERTS
I am enthusiastic about being part of any effort to raise money for a worthwhile cause. I perform three kids' concerts a year for which I charge NO FEE. I only ask that I be able to sell my CDs at the concert and that the concert be held within a 50-mile radius of Boston. The fees for any additional charitable and fundraising events are competitively priced. I make my decisions on the three annual fee-free events based on the charity's needs and how well-organized the event appears to be in the planning stages in order to raise the most money possible for the charity. To get some ideas about planning your charitable event, please see my application form which you can also fill out and e-mail back to me for consideration.

Any person or charitable group interested in being considered for a fee-free kids' concert in 2012 should fill out the form and e-mail it back to music@jeanniemack.com.

"Children and adults alike loved her."
