PUBLIC PERFORMANCES
Whether it's in a library, a town park, an auditorium, or a theater, a public performance is one of jeanniemack's favorite venues. Her performances include songs written by leading kids' artists as well as everyone's traditional favorites and, of course, her own originals. She encourages children to act out the songs by way of hand gestures, body movements, and vocal participation. These song activities vary according to the age levels of the children. Striving to please both kids and their accompanying adults, jeanniemack weaves "mini" stories, rhymes, and humor throughout her show. A performance by jeanniemack who accompanies herself on guitar and harmonica is always guaranteed to be lively and fun. Along with her primary objective to provide a thoroughly enjoyable musical experience for her young audiences, she never misses an opportunity to use her songs as learning tools as well. Her performances are geared to ages 1 - 7.
"We liked her so much, we booked her for a series!"

BIRTHDAY PARTIES
jeanniemack's birthday entertainment (for ages 1- 7) is made up of a mix of participatory songs. For added fun she often includes tambourines, egg shakers, scarves and/or cowboy hats. Circle games are introduced, if feasible. The birthday child receives a copy of jeanniemack's CD, I Like Feeling Good About Me. If six or more CDs are desired for goody bags, they may be purchased at half-price. The birthday merriment runs for 45 minutes.
"I just wanted to thank you for the outstanding party. The kids loved you as did my family and the parents who were there. The party would not have been half as special without you."

IN THE CLASSROOM
Classroom performances can be designed to suit any number of musical needs. In initial performances at day care facilities, pre-schools, or kindergartens jeanniemack presents a variety of age-appropriate songs and finger plays, which encourages the kids to interact. In subsequent performances, if the teachers are focusing on specific areas of learning they would like reinforced in song, jeanniemack is happy to work out related musical material - often writing her own songs to accomplish this. If a school is interested in having Jeannie visit on a regular basis in the role of music specialist, she will plan out programs each time, which include new music as well as former songs which are continuing to be used as learning tools. Percussion instruments are also incorporated.
HALLOWEEN FUN
No event is too big or too small for Halloween Fun with jeanniemack.
The program is perfect for public events and is also designed to suit Halloween
parties in the home. This Halloween show, which is geared for kids 4 to 10, includes
participatory Halloween songs - some being Jeannie's own originals - and one
not-too-scary Halloween tale complete with eerie sound effects. A sprinkling
of seasonal humor, riddles, tongue twisters and a few ghastly Halloween poems
are included in the mix as well. jeanniemack performs
in costume
for this 45-minute show unless the event is held outdoors,
and the weather requires warmer clothing. Call
early for bookings. First come, first served.
"You captured their attention from the start. The other parents were very impressed and all commented on what a great job you did."
Jeanne, mom of a 5-year-old trick-or-treater
Newbury, MA
"My favorite part was the 12 children standing up front to help with ‘The Twelve Days of Halloween.’ The expressions of concentration, intensity and pride were priceless. It was quite an amazing performance considering several of the children did not read and were relying on their memories."

Head of Youth Services

NOT A FRIGHT IN SIGHT
jeanniemack created this Halloween program especially
for the really little kids - infants to three and four-year-olds - who just want
to enjoy seeing the other children in their costumes and be entertained with
some very UNfrightful Halloween-themed songs. Also included are some of the well-known
(non-Halloween) songs that kids love along with a few seasonal rhymes. For
the grand finale the kids parade around in their costumes to a marching band
accompaniment. Jeannie performs
in costume for this 45-minute show unless the
event is held outdoors, and the weather requires warmer
clothing.
CHRISTMAS SING-ALONG
jeanniemack grew up celebrating Christmas and loves
the opportunity to share all of the traditional Santa-Rudolph-partridge-in-a-pear-tree-sleigh-bell
songs imaginable. (The more reverent Christmas carols may be added too,
as well as Hanukkah songs.) jeanniemack's program
of Christmas songs can be presented in sing-along style, as a concert-style performance,
or simply as “holiday ambiance” in private or public settings. If
the party-goers wish to have a full-blown sing-along, lyric sheets are available.
jeanniemack's offer of a Christmas sing-along
is her attempt to help keep a cherished custom alive.
CORPORATE EVENTS
Corporate events that require kids' entertainment take place in many different
settings... outside at a company barbecue ... in the office for a Halloween celebration...
or in a public place for a holiday party. (See Christmas Sing-Along above
for holiday music.) Wherever it's held, jeanniemack will
make a corporate event fun-filled and memorable with her lively and participatory
performance of songs geared for kids aged 1 to 7.
CHARITABLE & FUNDRAISING CONCERTS
jeanniemack is enthusiastic about being part of any
effort to raise money for a worthwhile cause. She performs 3 kids' concerts a
year for which she charges NO FEE. She only asks that she be able to sell her
CDs at the concert and that the concert be held within a 50-mile radius of Boston.
Her concert fees for all other charitable and fundraising events are competitively
priced. Any person or charitable group interested in being considered for a fee-free
kids' concert in 2008 should fill
out the form and
e-mail it back to jeanniemack87@yahoo.com no later than March 31, 2008. A decision
will be made by April 11, 2008.
"Children and adults alike loved her."
